Some of these pre-trained models are also available from within the Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms. Developers (and users) and therefore apply AI to their needs, without having to know Machine Learning and AI programming in general. They can simply use them.

Very clearly Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Finance and Supply-Chain)

Whether Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (next generation product line of AX is better for you, or Business Central – depends on your business needs. If you need several hundred users on your ERP, D365 Finance & Supply Chain is your clear choice. If your number of users is between 50 to 100, and your business processes are not too complex, you should explore the simpler product Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Dynamics 365 has a special product for Retail. This caters to the needs of all types of retail operations. The manufacturing for apparel and footwear requires some special/ unique functionality, which your partner will have to build for you, or buy from another partner. D365 caters to manufacturing very well.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing has several marketing automation functions in-built. Should you, however, want to use any other tools for specific functions, it should be possible to integrate it with Dynamics 365 Marketing. Details are however dependent on the specific products, and depth of integration desired.

If you are still running an old version of Dynamics CRM and want to move to the Dynamics 365 solutions, connect with a Dynamics partner like Alletec to steer the process. Upgrading from an old on-prem version to the latest D365 versions requires several things. The old system will have to be assessed for the customizations done. These customizations may, or may not be needed in the latest versions. The needed customizations might have to be rebuilt in Dynamics 365. The other important thing is – moving your data. Besides moving the master data, some data cleansing exercise might have to be undertaken. All these decisions are taken on case by case basis.
