Overview

Thor Explorations Ltd. is a leading mineral exploration company in West Africa, best known for its flagship Segilola Gold Mine in Nigeria, the country’s first large-scale gold mine.

To support its expanding operations and future growth, Thor decided to modernize its existing enterprise systems to the an agile, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-based platform.

It partnered with Alletec to guide the migration from it’s legacy on-premise Dynamics 365 Business Central to the Business Central Online. Alletec reduced custom code in favor of standard functionality available in Business Central Cloud, to help Thor establish a scalable platform that supports its growing operational and reporting needs, ensures on-the-go access, and ensures availability of current and future Microsoft AI capabilities.

Moving to the cloud was an important strategic investment for the Group. Beyond replacing ageing infrastructure, the project has strengthened our ERP platform, improved governance and positioned us to take advantage of Microsoft's continuous innovation as the platform continues to evolve.
