D365 FSCM Functional Consultant (Manufacturing & SCM)

Role & Responsibility -

• Prepare detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) capturing business needs and process expectations.
• Validate existing business process mappings and customized solution requirements in D365 FSCM.
• Collaborate with internal Project Managers and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment with business goals.
• Define and document test cases for process validation (future responsibility).
• Conduct system training sessions for end users post-implementation (future responsibility)
• Customer Side: Functional Heads – Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Stores.
• Internal Team: Project Manager and Technical Consultants.• Prior experience using business applications as an end user – familiarity with IT systems is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp the functional aspects of D365 modules like Sales, Procurement, Inventory, and Production Control.
• Should be self-driven, a fast learner, and a collaborative team player.

Qualifications -

• 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing organization.
• Solid understanding of core manufacturing and supply chain processes, including pain points and optimization opportunities.
• Hands-on knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Production Capacity Planning.
• Preferable: Exposure to ERP implementation or functional involvement in SCM & Manufacturing modules.
• Advantageous: Experience in a large-scale enterprise with multi-location manufacturing operations
